Pont: The Life and Work of the Great Punch Artist
London: Collins, 1969.
This is a compilation from Pont's many books of cartoons of the British in the 30s and 40s - still startlingly relevant today.
Killed at an early age (32), in the War, he had completely defined the social life of his day with drawings of unparalleled skill.
Still by far the best cartoonist of his era and very little, except the clothes, has changed.
