The book is in good shape. The binding is tight, with light wear to the spine top.
The pages are clean with no writing or marks, but with narrow paper remnant on first end page where book-plate has been removed, (see photo)
Overall, a very collectible copy of the first printing, illustrated by Edward Shenton throughout, with a perfect facsimile dustjacket.
